As the advocate for all segments of Vermont’s travel industry, the Vermont Tourism Alliance acts as the umbrella for Vermont’s visitor economy. The VTA focuses on    convening tourism organizations within the state together,  to work together on  common causes that help to drive the visitor economy forward. As dedicated partners of   the   VTA, it is crucial that we work together to champion the interests of our industry not only during the legislative session but throughout the year.

What sets us apart is how the VTA embraces   all business sectors that are directly and indirectly impacted by the economic success of Vermont’s visitor economy. This includes but is not limited to lodging (traditional and short term rentals), restaurants, breweries, attractions, outdoor recreation, arts and culture, agritourism, transportation, higher-ed, talent attraction, real estate, business recruitment, nonprofit, retail, etc.
